Give us your most innovative solutions to help all people in L.A. thrive in a hotter climate and reach 100% renewable energy and 100% local water while maintaining or increasing native biodiversity by 2050.

SUBJECT MATTER OF ENTRIES
The focus of your entry may be either the UCLA campus or the Los Angeles region.
Solutions must obey laws of nature.
Entries should keep in mind the three pillars of sustainability--ecology, economy and equity.
Any undergraduate, graduate or professional school student enrolled in UCLA may enter the contest.
Students may enter as individuals or in teams.
Multiple entries are allowed.
Entries will be judged on quality of presentation, creativity, innovation and potential for high impact in creating a sustainable future.
TIMING, FORMAT AND GENERAL GUIDELINES FOR ENTRIES
All entries must be uploaded to the Contest CCLE page by 11:55 PM on Monday, March 3, 2014. In order to submit, you will need to register for this website. Directions are provided on the submission page.
All entries must be presented visually, for example: a poster, photograph, video (incl. film, music, or performance), a 3D model, a sculpture, etc.
Each submission will include the following:
Contest Entry Cover Sheet
Written description of proposed vision/entry (no more than 1 page in length with 1 inch margins).
The cover sheet and description should be consolidated into a single PDF named with the individual/team members' last names separated by hyphens and the word "Narrative" (example: "Popowitz-Hawkins Narrative")
An image or video that may be uploaded online. This file should be named with last names separated by hyphens and the word "Visual" (example: "Popowitz-Hawkins Visual")
Entries may be uploaded for public viewing and the People's Choice voting. Winners are expected to be announced during Earth Month in Spring quarter.
