The Bruin family is expanding with the launch of the first official alumni organization of the Institute of the Environment and Sustainability. All Environmental Science majors past and present are invited to join the Environmental Science Alumni Group (ESAG).
“Strengthening ties with our alumni is important,” said Kate Thomas, lead coordinator for the effort. “We want to encourage a lifelong relationship with the Institute.”
The group was established to help alumni stay engaged with the IoES. Guided by a task force of recent graduates and Institute leadership, ESAG will host social engagements and networking events, provide resources, share news and updates, and offer various opportunities for former students to stay connected to their alma mater.
The Institute of the Environment and Sustainability's first graduate is Rutgers University's new Senior Transportation Planner.
