Ken Weiss is a Pulitzer Prize winning journalist for his Los Angeles Time "Altered Oceans" series on the anthropogenic impacts to ocean health. Last year, Ken wrote a multi-part series on the impact of population in Iran, the Philippines, China, India and the world as a whole, and the relationship between population growth and hunger, youth-driven uprisings and social change, called “Beyond Seven Billion.” He is currently working on a book on the same topic, and recently returned from Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, where he attended the International Conference on Family Planning.
