From Grey to Green - Making Sustainable Infrastructure Our Reality in the 21st Century

A Corporate Partners Program event co-hosted by the UCLA Anderson School of Management Chapter of Net Impact.

Tuesday, October 09, 2012
2:00 PM - 4:00 PM
Lecture Hall 1200 at UCLA's Institute for Pure and Applied Mathematics
460 Portola Plaza, Los Angeles, CA 90095

Our current "grey" infrastructure-from roadways to water pipes-was built mostly during the past century, when sustainability was an "after-thought"...if a thought at all. Today, as green awareness continues to gain momentum, large and small companies alike are re-thinking our infrastructure, with innovation flourishing. This workshop focuses on three areas where green infrastructure is critical: transportation-electric vehicles, water treatment and management, and retrofitting schools.

Please join us to hear the following distinguished speakers:

Peter Barsuk, AIA, LEED AP
Gensler Architecture

James Clark
Senior Vice President
Black & Veatch Engineering/Construction

Jennifer Berthelot-Jelovic, Leed AP BD+C
President and CEO
