Join a fascinating discussion on how reading can lead to action, transforming knowledge into power. A panel of environmental leaders will discuss the challenges within the green movement and ways that everyday heroes are addressing them. The event will be followed by a zero-waste reception featuring vegetarian snacks and light refreshments.
Panelists include:
• Jordan Howard, Environmental Your Activist and Educator;
• Damon Nagami, Senior Attorney, Natural Resources Defense Council; and
• Professor Daniel Blumstein, Chair of the Department of Ecology and Evolutionary Biology at UCLA and co-author of The Failure of Environmental Education (And How We Can Fix It), and Eating Our Way to Civility: A Dinner Party Guide.
