La Kretz Center Seminar Series

The La Kretz Center sponsors an Annual Public Lecture series that brings to Los Angeles renowned thinkers, researchers and leaders to educate and inspire our audience, and ourselves, on conservation science. During spring break, we host a four-day Annual Conservation Genomics Workshop, aimed at training PhD Students from across the country and around the world how to use population genomics as an emerging tool in conservation science. We are also proud to partner with the UCLA Ecology and Evolutionary Biology Department and other units across campus in co-sponsoring seminar speakers whose work addresses a range of conservation concerns.
