CTR Director Thomas Smith and Professor Louis Bernatchez are the organizers for a symposium entitled Evolutionary Change in Human-altered Environments: An International Summit. The summit will seek to synthesize current knowledge and to begin to develop plans to mitigate the effects of human activities on the evolutionary processes that generate and maintain biodiversity.
