Bike to Campus Week: May 11-15
Gear up for Bike to Campus Week, get a free bike tune-up, and take a break at a bike pit stop.

UCLA Transportation is proud to be a sponsor of Metro's annual Bike to Work Week. Stop by UCLA Transportation to pick up your bicycle helmet voucher coupon, redeemable at Helen's Cycles in the Westwood Village. Also, UCLA Transportation in partnership with UCLA Recreation is providing free light bicycle tune-ups and free flat tire services at the UCLA Bike Center. Print your bicycle tune-up coupon and bring your bicycle to the UCLA Bike Center through May 15. The UCLA Bike Center is located in the John Wooden Center, in the Office of Outdoor Adventures.
UCLA Transportation is hosting pit stops for cyclists on the following dates and locations:
Bike Week Pit Stops
Tuesday, May 12, 2009 8 a.m. – 10 a.m. Westwood and Le Conte
Wednesday, May 13, 2009 8 a.m. – 10 a.m. Tiverton/Dental Breezeway
Thursday, May 14, 2009 10 a.m. – noon Bruin Plaza
The bicycle pit-stops will feature light refreshments, promotional items and raffle tickets for the culmination event on Thursday, May 14, 2009.
If you commute via bike and transit, go to Metro's Bike to Work Week link for additional information, as well as a list of transit operators offering free rides on Thursday, May 14. You can also pledge online through Metro and qualify to win additional prizes provided by Metro.
