Fire-proof future?
Institute of the Environment Researcher Stephanie Pincetl is quoted in a BBC News article about the economic and social consequences of year-round wildfires in California.
"We need to stop expanding at the urban fringe. We are putting ourselves in positions of enormous vulnerability and danger," said Pincetl.
