The UCLA Institute of the Environment provides high-level corporate educational opportunities that bring executives into close contact with leading UCLA faculty members for intense and rewarding programs aimed at producing corporate leaders in sustainability.
The drive to sustainability is prompted by multiple factors that include a sense of corporate responsibility, response to legislated policy, addressing consumer sensibilities, developing new markets and simply increasing profitability. The realm of environmental sustainability is a rapidly developing field and many firms recognize that leadership in this area requires up-to-date training and exposure to the latest practices.
This intensive one-week program is designed for professionals who are leaders in their organizations and seek to understand the long-term value of incorporating sustainability and green innovations into their strategy, products, operations and brand management.
