'Countdown to Zero' focuses on nukes
Institute of the Environment Affiliate Professor Albert Carnesale was featured in a CNN report on the new documentary about the threat of nuclear terrorism.

Albert Carnesale has a Ph.D in nuclear engineering and consults regularly with the U.S. government on issues of national security. Dr. Carnesale, UCLA chancellor emeritus and a professor of public policy and mechanical and aerospace engineering, recently led a National Academy of Sciences study assessing the nation's ability to identify the source of nuclear weapons that could be used in terrorist attacks.
