Peter Hsiao is head of the Morrison & Foerster Land Use and Environmental Law Group in Los Angeles and the firm’s Green Products and Chemicals Group. Drawing upon his science background as a chemical engineer, Mr. Hsiao has more than 25 years of experience in environmental law and clean technology, both in the United States and internationally.
Mr. Hsiao was appointed to the American Bar Association’s Standing Committee on Environmental Law. He was named as a Distinguished Environmental Advocate by the ABA Section of Environment, Energy and Resources. He is the former Chair of the Environmental Law Section of the State Bar of California. Mr. Hsiao is identified by Best Lawyers in America as a leading lawyer in environmental law. The Legal 500 and PLC Global 3000 recommend him as one of the best environmental lawyers in the United States. The Los Angeles Business Journal and Los Angeles Magazine named him as one of the best environmental lawyers in Los Angeles.
