Center for Tropical Research Fall 2010 Newsletter
CTR researchers report on threats to biodiversity in Africa and Belize.

The Center for Tropical Research (CTR) has posted its Fall 2010 Newsletter on the News and Updates page of its website. The biannual CTR Newsletter contains feature articles by CTR researchers, field reports from graduate students, a letter from CTR Director Thomas Smith, and updates on CTR projects, field research trips, graduate student and postdoctoral scholar activities, and donor and grant support.
The Fall 2010 CTR Newsletter features an article by Adam Freedman describing the flattening of the rainforest-savanna gradient and its effect on the adaptive diversity of a rainforest bird in West Africa. Christina Marisa Tellez reports on her field study of stomach parasitemia in three New World crocodilians in Belize.
