Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change Report Assessment

The IPCC report review hosted by the Southwest Climate Science Center at the University of Arizona featured an expert panel with:

  • Julie Cole, Professor of Geosciences, University of Arizona
  • Russell Monson, Professor, School of Natural Resources and the Environment & Laboratory for Tree Ring Research, University of Arizona
  • Michael Crimmins, Associate Professor of Soil, Water and Environmental Science, University of Arizona
  • Joellen Russell, Associate Professor of Biogeochemical Dynamics, University of Arizona

UCLA and the Institute of the Environment and Sustainability are a host research institution for the U.S. Department of the Interior funded Southwest Climate Science Center. IoES Director Glen MacDonald also serves as a principal investigator. The mission of the Southwest Climate Science Center is to provide scientific information, tools, and techniques to anticipate, monitor, and adapt to climate change.
