Colleen Callahan is deputy director of the UCLA Luskin Center for Innovation, which conducts research and advises civic partners on the design and implementation of policies, plans and programs with a focus on advancing sustainability. In this role, Colleen develops, directs and communications results from research projects on climate action, clean transportation, environmental justice, and more. In addition, Colleen is co-founder and board member for the Los Angeles Sustainability Collaborative. She has over a decade of experience with environmental health policy and planning in California, including previously as manager of air quality policy for the American Lung Association of California. She is a Switzer Environmental Fellow, recipient of the Neville Parker award from the Council of University Transportation Centers, and co-recipient of two national awards from the American Planning Association. She holds a M.A. in Urban Planning from UCLA and a B.A. in Urban and Environmental Policy from Occidental College.
