Open Adjunct Professor Position
The UCLA Institute of the Environment and Sustainability (IoES) seeks an Adjunct Professor at the rank of Assistant Professor. The successful applicant will contribute to the research, educational, and outreach activities of the IoES. The position involves conducting research in the digital and environmental humanities and communications campaigns centered on the past, present, and future of nature and ecosystem services in metropolitan regions. The position will entail carrying out and coordinating collaborative quantitative and qualitative research in the humanities and sciences, with academic partners, and governmental and nongovernmental organizations, and publishing in peer reviewed literature, as well as developing successful communications campaigns in traditional and new media. Candidates must have an advanced degree, a strong background in humanities, sciences, and media, and a significant record of publication in the academic literature, as well as in mainstream and new media.
